CENTOCAVALLI is a limited edition of handmade scarves in linen and silk dyed with natural colors.
The name Centocavalli refers to a legend in which a queen of Aragon and her company of one hundred knights were caught in a severe thunderstorm during a trip to Mount Etna. The entire company is said to have taken shelter under the tree. Since, the tree is called "The Hundred Horse Chestnut".
Each scarf is dyed initially with chestnut, combined with another color. The extremities are marked with a contrasted or discreet tone down to the fringes, like a horse mane.
